Kirtan Camp, Mantra Chanting & Nada Yoga

Kirtan

Mantra Chanting

Nada Yoga

Kirtan is a part of an ancient form of Yoga known as Bhakti, or the Yoga of Devotion. It is the singing of the many names of the Lord, the multi-colored manifestation of the One. Kirtan is considered to be the easiest way to God realization. There is no beginner. It is fit for all people.
The mind becomes enchanted and absorbed in the divine vibration. The heart melts with love and devotion and the devotee becomes a channel for the expression of the divine. Kirtan is nourishment for the Soul.

"A Mantra is a Divine power in the form of sound. Constant repetition of the mantra with faith, devotion and purity enhances the Shakti or power of the aspirant and bestows illumination, freedom, peace, eternal bliss and immortality.” Swami Sivananada

This science has its roots in the Vedas and has been revealed to Nada Yogi Seers and Rishis who used it to reach God. The vehicle for its transmission is Indian Classical Music.
Swami Nada Brahmanada was such a Master and he in turn transmitted this knowledge to Yogi Hari who studied with him for 14 years. Not any kind of music can be called Nada Yoga. Only the music that flows from the mind of a Yogi and is used to lift one out of anxiety, restlessness and depression to a state of peace and divine bliss is called Nada Yoga.
Yogi Hari’s style of teaching is called "Sampoorna Yoga” which harmonizes all aspects of the human personality. Nada Yoga is an integral part of this teaching.
