Kirtan is a part of an ancient
form of Yoga known as Bhakti, or the Yoga of Devotion. It is the singing
of the many names of the Lord, the multi-colored manifestation of the
One. Kirtan is considered to be the easiest way to God realization.
There is no beginner. It is fit for all people. |
"A Mantra is a Divine power in the form of sound. Constant repetition of the mantra with faith, devotion and purity enhances the Shakti or power of the aspirant and bestows illumination, freedom, peace, eternal bliss and immortality.” Swami Sivananada |
This science has its roots in
the Vedas and has been revealed to Nada Yogi Seers and Rishis who used
it to reach God. The vehicle for its transmission is Indian Classical
Music. |
