Swami Nadabrahmananda

Swamiji was the greatest Nada Yogi and Taan Master of his time.
He was a professor at the University of Benares and later the
court musician to the Maharaja of Mysore.
In 1950 he was initiated into Sanyas by Master Sivananda.
At his Guru’s Ashram, Swamiji practiced intense sadhana
which bestowed on him many Siddhis. He slept 4 hrs.
and did Nada Kumbhaka every day, at which time he would
suspend his breath for 36 mins while he played the tabla.
He was also a master of tabla, harmonium and swaramandala.
Yogi Hari had the blessing of being his disciple since 1975.
At Yogi Hari’s Ashram, Nada productions made 2 professional
recordings:
1. Swami Nadabrahmananda in concert (vocal)
2. Swaramandala, Music of the Spheres.
Swaramandala, Music of the Spheres
Let the ancient Swaramandala, a 32 string instrument, charm
you. An acoustical enjoyment, an elevating event, one of
the simplest methods to experience a meditative state of
mind. This music is also ideal for relaxation, asana practice,
massage therapy or listening pleasure that will lift the
mind to a high state of bliss. These are the only two professional
recordings of this great master and are priceless treasures.
May you enjoy the bliss of Divine Vibrations. Here Swamiji
played Raga Bhupali and Raga Durga.
