Weekly Sampoorna Hatha Yoga Classes

At Yogi Hari’s Ashram, we offer weekly Hatha Yoga classes for all levels of students, from beginners to advanced. You will learn how to relax, strengthen and realign your body, gain control over your emotions, increase the power of concentration and uplift your mind. Each class includes breathing exercises, strengthening exercises, Hatha Yoga postures and relaxation techniques.

All classes are open to the public. As with any class, you can go at your own pace pushing yourself but staying within your own limits. You will get the most benefit from Yoga if you practice more than once a week. Try come to as many classes during the week as you can manage to experience the positive effect of the practice.

Beginners Classes

During this class, your instructor will provide step-by-step instructions guiding you through each part of a Sampoorna Hatha Yoga class. This session is perfect for students who have never done Yoga before or who are just starting out with their practice. Your instructor will also give variations for different levels of students. After a few Beginners classes, you are welcome to attend the other open classes during the week (see below). 

  • Monday 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 


Open Classes

During an Open Class, your instructor will cater to all levels of students. Prior practice of Yoga is recommended. We suggest starting out with the Beginners class and then joining the Open Classes once you are more familiar and comfortable with the practice.

  • Tuesday & Thursday 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.


Seniors Classes

This gentle, restorative class is specially adapted for students 55+. You will have many options for variations and adaptations depending on your level of fitness and mobility.

  • Wednesday 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Members of Sampoorna Yoga receive:

  • Unlimited Yoga Classes (If you take 3 classes a week, that comes to $8 per class!)
  • $45 for your first private class
  • Save 10% on select workshops and retreats
  • Save 10% on bookstore items
  • 1 free guest pass per month

1 Person Membership – $100 per month

2 Person Membership – $150 per month

  • Same benefits as above, plus 2 free guest passes per month. 


You can pay with cash or credit card when you come to class.


What to Bring

Please bring a Yoga mat or towel, comfortable clothes and no perfumes.

A typical Hatha Yoga class includes postures that improve balance such as the Mountain Pose.
