Sunday Evening Satsang

Meditation, Chanting, & Spiritual Teachings

    What is Satsang?

Sat means truth, sangha means gathering.
Satsang is a gathering to seek truth.

Since ancient times, spiritual knowledge is imparted from teacher to student. The teachings of the saints, sages, and yogis offer insight into higher states of consciousness.

Students gather around the spiritual teacher to receive higher knowledge and answers to questions such as "Who am I? What is the purpose of life?  What happens when I die?"

The Bhagavad Gita is the quintessential example satsang in which Krishna gives Arjuna teachings on the nature of the eternal Self, the Soul, the Atman. Buddha, Jesus and many other enlightened teachers shared their wisdom in this manner.

      The benefits of Satsang

Train the mind to be calm
      Experience the bliss of chanting
Find a deeper meaning in life

Each program begins with systematic steps to silent meditation, continued with devotional chanting, and a spiritual lecture given by Shri Yogi Hari. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions prompted by their spiritual studies.

By associating with a wise teacher in this manner, you are able to uplift your mind and unfold into great potential.
